Spring is Here

Our nursery of fir trees and cedar trees is flourishing. Time to start planting!
One tiny flower and a dozen buds ready to bloom. Next week it’ll be studded with white flowers.
Irises are coming up everywhere, looking for the sun.
Prairie crocus, its downy hair catching raindrops, is just starting to unfurl.
This is a clump of grape hyacinths, and you can see a couple of them on the right side of the clump. The rest have been eaten by rabbits, as you can see from the yellowed ends of the stalks!
The sedums are starting to emerge from the base of last years’ plants. They look lovely with the raindrops caught in their folds.
