Two photos from a frosty Cobble Hill morning.
I’m a bit late with my shot today as I just got up an hour ago.
A couple of mornings ago we had a heavy frost and gorgeous morning light so I went outside with my camera right after breakfast.
I love my macro lens – it allows me to capture images like this: a close-up of a monard (bee balm) seed head with frost adorning the top.
I love seeing the shape of the ice crystals, and the golden light is perfect. The background is also nice and neutral – which allows the foreground to really stand out.
I took quite a few pics that morning, so will add another below just for fun.
Beautiful! Macro photography is my favorite!
Thanks!
